WHAT ABOUT the PRESEASON GAMES?

Unfortunately, the Bills Backers don't get together for the preason games. Here's why:

Pe-season  games are not broadcast over DirectTV. Only very rarely are they available  through the "Big Dish" satellite, but most bars (including the Harp) have tossed those big dishes in favor of the small ones.  In fact, sometimes the preseason games are sent back to the home market over a dedicated cable link.

Years ago, we used to  "advertise" the preseason games at the Harp, but now, it's extremely rare that we can get the games. We don't want to make people mad if we say we can get the game. but  can't. In the past, more than a few people were angry after making the trip into Boston only  to find the game not on. We think it's better to not give false hope.

Sorry, but there isn't anything we can do about  it.

The NFL Network is slated to show all the preseason games on a tape-delay basis. Check your listings or subscribe to our email list to get up-to-date schedule information.
